Jalepeno Cornbread

Anytime I cook cornbread I’ll use The Old Mill’s cornmeal mix. It’s the best I’ve found and Marvelle over in Pigeon Forge has always been good to me.

The other day I had to have them send me some more mix for the Oklahoma Ranch Rodeo Finals I’m cooking for this coming weekend. Good ole Marvelle put in some of their jalepeno cornbread mix and I’ve never been one to turn down a jalepeno.

Today, I whipped up a batch. Decided to make them in a muffin tray. I only got 8 muffins out of a batch- so you might want to double the recipe. I also didn’t have to cook them the full 30 minutes.

If you’re a fan of cornbread these are great for an extra kick! It would also be good to fry up a little bacon and mix in. Check out their website to order: The Old Mill.
